The municipality Freiamt is a recreation resort in the foothills of the Southern Black Forest near the city Freiburg im Breisgau.

It is located in a beautiful landscape, ideal for leisure, vacations and recreation.

Surrounded by green meadows, fruit trees and a gorgeous open sky you’ll find the Kastanienhof in Freiamt.

Its beautiful location provides unobscured views to our local mountain Kandel, the French Vosges, and to the Feldberg, highest mountain of the Black Forest.

We have deliberately chosen to conduct all seminars outdoors as far as possible. It is a wonderful way to directly experience pristine nature.

You experience the horses as a herd in a small open stable building. That’s another aspect of this particular natural ambience.

The Kastanienhof is conveniently reachable within 12 minutes from the A5 motorway by car.
We also have good public transport connections by train and bus.
